Protect your home from natural disasters by using FORTIFIED Home construction standards and methods. IBHS FORTIFIED goes beyond emergency preparedness and disaster preparedness to give you the peace of mind that comes from knowing your home has been FORTIFIED to offer disaster protection. The FORTIFIED Home program has three levels of designation – Bronze, Silver and Gold – that build upon each other. The FORTIFIED Home Bronze level addresses the roof system. Upgrades reduce wind and water entering the home. Insurance discount are from 25%-35% depending of the insurance carrier.
